Why did I pick up that book “Rich Dad Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosak? After
reading reading this book I woke up one day and decided to quit my job.
Most of my family and friends thought that I was a joke. Being a single parent
with a dead beat dad that didn't want to pay child support they did not
recommend it at all. Well who needs recommendation from those who are
comfortable working for someone else making them rich?
Don’t get me wrong it has been hard for me. I have been working for myself
for seven years now. During the first part of the years I studied and received
my real estate license. Now I am an active real estate broker in Texas. I am a
single parent of 3 and I enjoy working with others sharing ideas on real
estate investments and making money.
The real estate market is crazy; I sometimes wonder why I even got into it.
Today the subprime market has closed some doors of opportunities, but has
opened some opportunities of some others. When you’re working for
yourself and your market is down you may have to find some other creative
ways of making money.
Today I have begun to search for ways of making money without spending
money. Of course the first route I took was the making money online source
of reading emails and filling out surveys. This method is time consuming but
it does pay because that would bring you to the next level of referrals.
Referring others to my already created accounts was even better for me but I
still read emails and fill out surveys. (Hard to resist especially if you have time
to spend on the net). Once I started this method I decided to create a
website, which is what led me to blogging.
I would like to share my learning and earning experiences with others in
exchange for yours here so that we can all support our business.
